The Reese underbed rail kit part # RP30868 that you mentioned is the exact same as the Ford OEM rail kits so if you had a Curt A16 that was designed for the Ford rail kits part # C16520-16017 it would fit this directly. If you had a A16 designed for above bed rails part # C16120 it would need the rail kit adapter part # RP30156 or you could swap the legs of the hitch to the part # C16017. view full answer...

This is correct and what your options are depend on what 5th wheel hitch you've currently got. If you've got a Curt 5th wheel hitch that fit into your 2018 Sierra pucks then you would typically be able to swap the legs for a new puck system and just re-use the head; for example you'd use the # CU53FR to adapt a Curt A or Q series hitch head to a 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500 with the OEM prep package.

We do not have a Reese brand hitch for your 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with 6-3/4 Foot Bed that mates to the OEM Prep Pkg.
We do have the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package, # BWRVK3775. This is a dual jaw - 20K hitch and one of, if not the best, 5th wheel hitches on the market. It is made in the USA from material that is also sourced in the US. This is constructed with high grade steel and has superior powder coating. The 1" thick jaw on... view full answer...
Unless your 5th wheel has the dished in or concave front corners that are specifically designed to provide turning clearance, or your 5th wheel is equipped with a rotating pin box like a Reese Sidewinder/Revolution or a Lippert Turning Point, you'll really need to go with a sliding 5th wheel hitch to provide the proper amount of clearance to avoid a collision between the front of the 5th wheel and the rear of the truck cab.
It's entirely possible that you'll have the proper amount of... view full answer...
We have a few options available. The first option would use a connection system that mounts under the truck bed. This fifth wheel hitch option is the Companion from B&W, which would consist of parts # BWRVK3400-5W hitch and # BWGNRK1020-5W mounting system. This set-up would allow you to tow either a fifth wheel or a gooseneck trailer, and wouldn't require drilling 10 holes through your brand-new truck bed (just one hole for the goosneck ball). Once the hitch is removed, your bed will... view full answer...

What I think you are asking, is there a non-slide type B&W hitch that will mount in your short bed truck using an already installed gooseneck hitch with turn-over ball? Then because it is a short bed, for clearance, use the 5th Airborne Sidewinder, such as the # RP61422. If I am understanding correctly the unfortunate answer is no. While the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch, # BWRVK3500-5W mounts in the goose neck, the 5th Airborne Sidewinder states specifically that it is not to be used... view full answer...

There is not currently a non-OEM underbed puck system compatible with your 2021 Chevy 2500. The Reese Elite underbed pucks are what fit your Ford compatible Sliding 5th wheel hitch, but they have not yet made a compatible system for the new model Chevy/GM trucks as of 11/2020. Unfortunately that means there isn't currently a fit compatible with your hitch for your truck so another option will need to be considered.
